Brian Roberts for Adam LaRoche?

The Orioles are discussing a trade that would land them first baseman Adam Laroche from the Braves for 2B Brian Roberts. Is it just me or are the Braves just trying to get rid of Laroche? This is the 3rd time I have heard him rumored in a trade. Also if this trade goes down Mark Loretta could be signed to fill the void at second base?

LaRoche AND Marcus Giles

Brian Roberts. I'm just saying, Mark Loretta doesn't need to be involved if this trade goes down a week ago... Then again, when it comes to Peter Angelos, the Al Davis of the East Coast, nothing can be counted on as being normal.

During the winter meetings, it was said that the two teams had agreed to a deal, Roberts and Hayden Penn going to Atlanta for LaRoche and another player...but Peter Angelos refused to sign off because Roberts is a personal favorite.

Just thinking Brian Roberts isn't much to give up for a guy that seems to be blossoming into a great hitter.
