Games like this make me feel like I'm not crazy for thinking this is a playoff team. Fantastic win, and let's get the sweep tomorrow before the scuffling Mets come to town. Any official word on if Lincecum is pitching or not?

Uecker is so freakin awesome at capturing big moments
Cory Provus had some himself tonight. If you can get postgame audio, it's certainly worth a listen tonight.

Please, everyone, if you're sure the game is over before the score goes final, just say so once - and then exit the forum for the night. Let those of us who enjoy following games to the end do so in relative peace. I'm saying this as a Brewers fan, not as an administrator. Thank you.

I just heard Cory's call of the Cameron catch. One of the better calls I've heard from him although I haven't listen to him a whole lot yet.

I know this isn't really a game thread type post, but Mark DeRosa is NOT in Cleveland's lineup tonight and was seen making several phone calls prior to the game. People in Cleveland are speculating he's been traded. How much you want to bet if he's been traded it's to STL?? That would be typical.

Baseball Tonight just confirmed he has been traded....to where, we shall find out shortly.

EDIT: WOW....good call with the Cards. Boy, another buzzkill for the Crew.

For the call of that Cam catch, Cory was sounding downright Daron-esque. Only this time the robust call was warranted. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Edit: Listen here.

I was thinking the same thing hawing! I can't say I have a problem with it though. Listening to it on the radio was definitely a lot of fun tonight.

And I love Uke, going through the sponsors at the end of the game: "This game has been brought to be you Miller Lite--great taste, less filling, and I need one." Something like that http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif.

I listened to this one on the Giants' flagship coming home from Santa Cruz (home of Casey McGehee, as we were reminded several times) on California Highway 1, between the cliffs and the coast, and got home just in time for the bottom of the ninth...fantastic, what an experience. That was one roller coaster of a game, maybe my favorite of the year. Being able to see that Cam catch in the post-game was the frosting.

I was really impressed with the way the MP crowd sounded over KNBR tonight--huge and loud, and Kuip and Dave Flemming mentioned it a few times.

Yeah, though I think it might have been briefer yet: "...brought to you by Miller Lite - I need one!" I laughed out loud and startled the cats.

Kendall was only put in because of Counsell being shaken up. He took one off the toe, and he's had sore knees apparently.

Isnt Gerut good for anything? Kendall running? How about Narveson? Hopefully he wouldnt have had Kendall out there if we were down by one!

Yeah, I was really upset that they sent Kendall out instead of Gerut and that probably would've been one of my first complaints if the Crew had lost that game. Oh man, I can't even imagine if Kendall had been gunned down at home on that Corey hit.

Speaking of, I'm a little surprised that wasn't closer--it seemed like Rowand got to it right away and seemed to get a great throw off but it died in the infield and even Jason was able to make it in standing.

Macha shows his love of Kendall again. I hope he doesn't get burned by his use of Kendall.

Fan is short for fanatic.

I blame Wang.
