The offense also had plenty of hitting and guys on base on Tuesday, just did not get hits with RISP...I don't know that I'd call that a lack of offense, certainly it was a lack of runs and "clutch" hitting (or just bad luck).

That's a little harsh, isn't it? Considering the team put up 32 runs in the Cleveland series, just a week ago, I'd say it's just a funk they're in.
Yeah, probably. I just get frustrated when they strand leadoff doubles and can't hit the ball off of people like Scott Baker.

Baker's not a bad pitcher, even if his ERA was over 5 coming into today. It was covered the last time the Brewers faced him (when he almost went all 9 innings and gave up 3 runs), but his stats were really hurt by a few bad starts to start the season. He's been very solid for over a month now...he hasn't lost a decision since May 29 (4 ER vs. Tampa) and hasn't given up 5 ER since May 14.

Heard TH on the Dlist and Macha said that he started McGehee because RHers are actually hitting Baker better than LHers. Just be thankful it's not Bill Hall out there.

Wouldn't it then make more sense to have the better left handed hitter bat? Gamel and McGehee would make more sense using Macha's logic than Counsell and McGehee.
