Let me see if I have this right.

In our lineup tonight we have two guys who are not going to get moved in the lineup.

Braun

Fielder

Four guys who over their careers and more importantly starting with 2006 have hit LHP very well.

Hart

Hardy

Hall

Cameron

One guy who we don't know much about except he had ok MiLB numbers and is hitting well this year.

McGehee

One guy who is our worst hitter on the team and has almost no platoon split to speak of.

Kendall

and of course the pitcher.

Who leads off you ask. Well the worst possible option outside of the pitcher of course.

If Macha =Superman then Kendall=Kryptonite. Macha has done well so far outside of his lineup decisions.

Fan is short for fanatic.

I blame Wang.

This is a tough one to swallow, when you factor in all the LOB against Liriano and the fact that they really could've won this game if it weren't for the defensive miscues (specifically some very make-able plays by Kendall and Hardy). Defense has been the difference between these two teams so far...hopefully they can pick themselves up and not give away as many outs tomorrow.

What a disappointing game. The offense turned off, and the defense was terrible. Coupled with Suppan's lousy performance (though it wasn't entirely his fault), and the only silver lining in this one was that the bullpen continues to be solid. Oh, and maybe Macha will finally decide to quit toying with starting Bill Hall in the hopes he might jack one out once every 10 or 15 at bats or so.

Yeah, they'd have surely won tonight if only Kendall were batting 8th instead of 1st...

Never said they would have won with Kendall lower in the order. Just didn't get a chance to post about the poor lineup sooner.

For three hours of sitting in muggyville, I would have appreciated more decent results.

At least our terrace box section had very few Twins fans, and the quartet in the neighboring box were only jerks on their way out (which was as the bottom of the 9th started, which means they didn't stay to see their boy Joe Nathan, which makes me wonder just how deep their fandom is).

I will accept as a small silver lining the 0-for performance for Joe Mauer. He lost at least 12 points of his batting average.

Overall, it would really help my spirits if the Brewers would stop scuffling. I think step one is to get this AL kryptonite the heck out of their lives.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.
