McCalvy: Miller Park flooded but should be fine by Tuesday. (Latest: They hope)

Squambaum's account doesn't surprise me, and is part of the reason why I've been keeping an eye on the usual Brewers media sources. I'd like to not get 3/4 of the way to Milwaukee tomorrow only to have to turn back.

Today's JSOnline update sounds a little more promising.

I called my friend again and they pretty much echoed the JSOnline report but with a little bit more colorful language. It wasn't a very fun weekend for them but with an economy like this they couldn't really complain. You should be fine Hawing...enjoy the game.

My co-workers kept me updated throughout the weekend on the flooding situation, and as many of you know it is way worse than first reported. Our grounds crew break room/locker room was devistated. Water was approx. 3 feet high in our locker room and break room, thus making anything that was 3 feet or lower virtually useless. Just spoke with a buddy that is there currently and we will be ready to go for tonight's game, but will be working with the bare minimum.

I'll tip my cap to everyone who contributed to the cleanup/shoreup effort since the rains last week. I don't doubt for a second the extreme disruption, but it was not evident at the "fan" level.
