IT'S OVER…AT LEAST FOR THIS HALF: The Rattlers were eliminated from first half playoff contention on Wednesday night.

 

There are three games left in the first half. By winning all three the Rattlers would get a winning record in a half for the first time since 2005.

Can't say I'm surprised - but I will happily say "I told y'all so" with regards to Cody - the pwnage continues unabated, it seems.

 

And Gillespie racked up two hits. His OPS over this season has been climbing of late - looks like he finally got back in the groove after the injury problems and trying to do too much earlier.
