Howie Kendrick

With the Angels confidence in Kendrick down, I'm thinking a nice month by the replacement (Rodriquez) would make Kendrick expendable. I know the guy can, and will, hit well again. He could take over at second (with a sprinkle of third possibly) for the rest of this season and maybe allow Weeks to move to center at some point in the future.

I've always liked Kendrick - but do the Angels ever trade a young player?

 

Edit: How about Parra? We can trade recently demoted, struggling young players who need a change of scenery.

Let's get this kid. The Angels don't seem willing to give him everyday duties. And I'll bet everything I have he hits .320+ with 15-20 HR each season for the next handful given a full time gig.

 

While we're at it, I'd like to snag Hank Conger as well. I know Milwaukee has a couple catchers but the more the merrier... and I just love that name for a catcher.

We have no use for Kendrick whatsoever. We have plenty of other options for second base including Weeks who is better than Kendrick. The focus needs to be exclusively on pitching this offseason.

Agreed. I'll happily pass. Weeks is fine with me, along with offering Lopez arby, along with realizing Lawrie is probably under two years away from being ready. Let's spend our resources on pitching. If anything, I'd like a big time bat to help out Braun and Fielder, probably in the form of a right fielder. Other than that, give some of these kids more of a shot and let's just get some decent pitching in Milwaukee.

Kendrick has been massively overrated because of the big minor league numbers he put up playing it hitters havens. I like the idea of trying to acquire undervalued players, but he's just overrated
