Had to step away from the computer after the first few innings, but I stuck with the game all the way through...I feel sorry for anyone who didn't, although I couldn't blame them. I too have Braun and Fielder on my fantasy team, so it's a double win today for me. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

Go get 'em again tomorrow, and hopefully they won't need a save situation to do it. I was nervous about using Hoffman again tonight, and ideally you'd not use him until Detroit just to give his arm some rest after seeing his lack of control the past couple days. It was a wild win, but I'll take it...good ol' fashioned AL baseball, I guess.

Tonight's game kinda had the feel of a potential classic. Not saying I called it or anything, but they had 8 runs, were trailing, and balls were flying out of that place. I kinda felt like they'd at least get a chance to tack a few more on and make it a game, especially against that bullpen.

The best part about this whole deal is that I started Prince, Braun, Gamel and Hart tonight. They reward me with 13 RBI!!! It's good to be a fantasy homer tonight!

Haha, replace Hardy with Prince and I had a pretty decent night as well--not as good as yours though

Anyway, what an uplifting win after that crummy homestand.

Is there a law that says Hoffman has to pitch a whole inning? Why not leave Stetter in to face Hafner?

Sigh...I will never understand why managers make these types of decisions.

You're kidding right? Maybe because you have the best closer in the history of the game in your bullpen?

Sigh. What a night to have class and forget to DVR the game. I checked the score on my laptop when it was 12-8 after class I figured I would just spend time with my wife instead of following the end of the game. What a mistake! At least the game replays at 2 a.m.

Lefties have a career batting average against of .133 against Stetter. Even the hall of famer Trevor Hoffman can't compare to that

Hart has a 20/20 season under his belt

Two actually. I doubt he gets a third this year. He isn't getting enough stolen bases although I think he has a good chance to get more than 20 HR.

Fan is short for fanatic.

I blame Wang.

Ump assumed his toe was touching the back of the bag. I don;t see how you can think he was out there. Looks pretty safe to me, if not it's inconclusive, and the ump isn't going to call that consider the second tag was haphazardly applied.
