Please just DFA Manny and don't move him to the bullpen. There is no situation other than down by >6 that I would trust Manny in. Send him to AAA and hope that he can get his stuff right. In the meantime, time to work on picking up an extra SP, Doug.

I have used this before, but for anyone that has played unlimited arc softball, facing Manny must be the same thing. Just sit back and let him throw his junk stuff for balls until he is forced to use his meat pitch for a strike and drill it.

It is too bad the bullpen has to fall on another sword here. They've had to eat a ton of innings lately. I'd guess we'll probably see Hoffman today for an inning since he hasn't pitched in a while. I definitely can understand not wanting to sacrifice Manny and any confidence he has left by leaving him out there to pitch 4 innings and give up 12 runs, but all of this work is going to catch up to the bullpen at some point.

I'm going to the game in Detroit on Friday. At this point, I'm praying that Manny doesn't pitch that game.

Y'know in the early part of this inning I decided, before I buy any tickets I'm gonna avoid any game where it looks like it would be Para's turn. Now, I'm expecting this not to be an issue as I'm not planning any trips to Nashville.

Wow, between Stockton and Meltdown Manny, this is a good one to miss I guess.

I've got a bunch of buddies there today for a bachelor party (from Chicago and Wisconsin, so it's a mixed crowd)--at the least the game won't impinge on the Brewer-fan contingent's fun too much

Maybe I'm drinking the Kool-Aid (well, definitely drinking it), but I think if we can keep it to 6 runs this inning, we might still have a chance...

Sorry, that should've been in blue text. I'm just tired of seeing the team get embarrassed when they're on ESPN, Fox, TBS, etc. when more than just the regional fanbase to see.

There was a thread about that last year, and I think we pretty much debunked that perception.

BadgerFan: I was just going to do that!!

I see no reason to move him to the bullpen, you send him down to AAA or even AA and have him work on his mechanics and try again next year if he proves himself in spring training.l He wouldn't be the first lefty to completely lose it for a year and then get it back but I don't see how they'll be able to trust him this season given how close we'll be in a playoff race.

This hurts in so many ways. Chances of us winning is drastically low. Our BP is going to suffer. DM's chances of trading Parra is no longer present, or at least trading him and getting something good in return. Thanks Manny for ruining my Saturday!

Plenty of time to crawl back into this one, but the bullpen will need to be the team MVP today for it to happen. They showed they can score 7 runs yesterday...here's to hoping they can do it again today.

And we continue to embarrass ourselves on national TV. If only we could throw Yo out there to prove to the nation we are a legit team...
I'm sorry but this is a dumb statement. One game doesn't prove poop to the nation or anyone else. It's another game in June and maybe a few more people are seeing it.

I'd be more worried about our mental midget lefty right now.
