Did anyone notice Braun hardly swung when he homered yesterday?

Notice at 0:41, he doesn't even follow through! It speaks loudly about his balance and bat speed...or maybe these SAM BATS are just super legit. After all, Barry Bonds used them. I remember Bonds once hit a check swing, broken-bat home run at Florida's ball park. But Bonds had more help than just a SAM BAT.

Braun's plate coverage is amazing. It seems to be a gift & a curse, though, as it seems (haven't checked the data) he could do a much better job at limiting his OOZ swing %.

 

That HR was ridiculous. Soriano-esque HR swing.

It was very simliar to the one Chipper hit off Manny in Atlanta. Good hitters hit good pitches sometimes and sometimes a long way.
