yeah, that was pretty poor plate discipline that inning, 3-run homer or not.

 

Nice call on a 5-4 finish! We haven't died with the sword (Gamel's defense) much this season, but we certainly haven't lived with it much either (Gamel's hitting). So far.

 

Well, let's come back and fair a bit better than in the past in interleague play.

And is Colorado really that "hot". They haven't really put up a lot of runs and they haven't played great defense. It feels like the whole series comes down to our hitters being monumentally disappointing, nothing more.
They scored 11, 10, 7 and 5 runs vs. STL. Coming into the series, I was concerned that they might keep up that offensive barrage...and at least they didn't combine effective pitching with overpowering offense.
Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

At least the offense put up a fight at the end, so there are some encouraging signs. Hart had a couple good ABs off the bench.

 

The White Sox are a very beatable team...I have confidence in them being able to take two of three to get the bad taste of this series out of the mouth.
