This team is so pathetic right now. How many opportunities like the last 2 innings (1st and 2nd, no outs) have we squandered in the last week or two?

I can't wait for the hitting to get back on track because this is painful to watch.

This series just makes that game against Atlanta and the one against Florida more painful because Macha made some very questionable moves with the bullpen that led directly to the losing runs scoring. Can't just blame him 100% but if we win those 2 games this cold streak really doesn't look that bad, add those 2 losses to the generally mediocre play this month and it looks really ugly.

hey, think of it this way: maybe we're getting our September 2008 out of the way in June this year. If June is our worst month things won't be that bad (we can hope!)

I like the positivity there!

And maybe that single will get Corey going. Also, Braun is the tying run right now....you never know.

I'm just eager to put this series behind us. Let's start over tomorrow, and take two of three from the Sox.

Is there anything really worse about the Atlanta game than the first two of this series? Didn't we have a 2 run lead in all three of those games? The first two against Colorado are more painful to me since they were at home.

And is Colorado really that "hot". They haven't really put up a lot of runs and they haven't played great defense. It feels like the whole series comes down to our hitters being monumentally disappointing, nothing more.

Coming into today, they've outscored their opponents 50-16 during the seven game winning streak. Sure, they haven't been crushing the ball like they did against Houston or St. Louis at the start of the streak, but they've had very good pitching for a solid week now. They're playing good baseball.

Of course, the Brewers' struggles with RISP are maddening, too. Kind of a perfect crapstorm of a team struggling offensively running into a team pitching very well.

Edit: Wow, how did Braun get that one out? Rivera's AB is definitely more disappointing in that light, though...hopefully Prince doesn't swing out of his shoes trying to tie it now.

If this series has to be this frustrating, the games could at least be shorter.

Ah, Ryan. I don't know whether to be pleased that you finally jacked one, or jerked around because you're trying to get my hopes up.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.
