I agree losing weeeks really hurt this team and still think Melvin needs ahitter more than a Pitcher via the trade. Hart and hardy have really stunk out the Joint as well as the complete inability to hit anything from Bill Hall. This team needs a shakeup on offense alos addd kendall and that lmost more than half of the lineup that has not been Hitting.

Wow. Frustrating one. Get 'em tomorrow. At least we don't have to wait all day for the game.

Bright spot, though: Casey McGehee. Despite the K to end it, he was 1-3 with two walks and a run. I know it's just one game, but it's nice to see production from someone other than Counsell at the top of the order. Sorry. Brain fart on the DiFelice. My mind's somewhat at ease now, though. Thanks, nate.

Chris Smith pitched pretty well, too, considering he hadn't gotten any game action since getting called up. It's frustrating that they can't scrape together many runs, but at least they're not getting blown out...I'd feel a lot worse about these losses if the Brewers were getting spanked by Colorado like the Cardinals did over the weekend.

Pretty hard to have a decent offense when Hardy, Hart, and the catchers spot are basically automatic outs every day and Hall joins the group when he plays.

When your only option in the 2 hole is JJ Hardy hitting below .220 with no power it doesn't bode well.

I'm mildly dismayed that the eight-game win streak we'd enjoyed with my mojo jacket and the SO's Power 50 shirt was derailed by George of the Freaking Roses. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/frown.gif Though I think it was more the Brewers' hangdog offense than JDLR bringing the unhittable filth. (There's a couple of phrases from an earlier era of Brewerfan.)

On the up side, we can wash the power 50 shirt again! And I was happy to meet whizkid in section 223 tonight.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.
