In other news, the Reds and Rockies both just tied up their games against the Cubs and Cardinals. This could be another good day http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif.

I agree that walking a batter is a bad thing and walking a lefty is even worse, don't have a big issue with that comment. I'm just trying to establish that the results aren't what defines a good or bad outing. A season is too random to get a good judge of talent from just the results, over a single start the results are just not going to tell you the story.

This start by Parra was one of his better on the season, even if the result was 5 ER. His control was much better, he was using fewer pitches per at bats and other than Jones they weren't making very good contact overall.

Yes grading on a Parra curve it was a B start.. on a Gallardo curve it was a D? I just think it is two different approaches on how to get Manny where we need him and his talent should be.. I prefer him coming out of the pen for awhile and others prefer he keeps starting. I will agree that I don't think there is any reason to send him to AAA as he has already proven he can get hitters out there.. he just needs to figure it out at this level.

The Reds have a better record than the Cubs though. But, I still hate the Cubs.

I am much more afraid of the Cubs than the Reds though, especially with Volquez and Votto having so many problems.

Same thing as last year in the Cubs vs Cardinals games, I was always more concerned with the Cubs than the Cardinals because they were the better team. Plus the Cubs are just more annoying than the Reds~.

The further back Chicago is when they finally get healthy, the better. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif

As long as the Brewers keep hitting the way they've been today, though, I have good feelings about their chances to actually take the division...but it is early. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/wink.gif Too bad there's an off day tomorrow, because they're playing very well right now.

The Cubs are the better team, so I'd rather they dig themselves a deeper hole. There are still 4 months left this season. I also can't believe Colorado is on the verge of sweeping St. Louis.
