With all the heat guys Hall and Kendall get, it shows how well liked Hardy is that there is almost never any mention of his season long struggles. Except for a couple brief stretches he has been non existent.

JJ had a horrible April, but he batted .313 with an .888 OPS in May. I wouldn't call that non-existent.

Hardy's been fine for over a month now, so I can see why fans aren't on him. But I do agree with you that Hardy could bat .200 the whole year and the fans, and Brian Anderson, would still love him.

Point taken, but how many big hits has he gotten, even during that stretch? I am not trying to bag on the guy but even with that average, alot of the hits were at times when the game was not in the balance shall we say.

Mostly fans of the female gender, and Anderson probably wouldn't even know that he was hitting .200. Anderson has a crush on him just like any teenage girl does.

Yes, it's a big step for Manny to be able to step up and get out of an inning like that, and not let it get to him mentally.

Except he has been doing that kind of thing a lot this year and has a better OPS against with RISP than with the bases empty. This perception that he breaks down mentally just is not true at all. He may have some mental approach issues in general but it certainly isn't him breaking down in tough spots like people like to say it is.

I've only seen it a couple times and I'm already sick of that Farm & Fleet commercial.

....that's game-related, right?

Oh man, me too! They seem to play that commerical twice eery commercial break. It's really annoying.

It didn't really mean that it was a tough spot. I was more referring to that bad luck triple that Jones got. I figured that it would probably be frustrating for him to have that happen.
