For those who don't know there is a certain OFer putting up over a 900 OPS this season and that is very OBP heavy:

Now obviously this is a fluke (BABIP of .407) but its a reminder that luck is still a huge influence over stats at this point in the season and that there are always going to be some strange outliers.

Well we all know once Manny is back he is gonna be on the bench. Does this make his trade value higher for the Dodgers when Manny comes back? I mean they can't start Pierre over Ramirez, Kemp or Eithier.

If Colletti can find a way to move Pierre & that horrible contract he offered him, that in & of itself should get him some GMOTY votes.

Point taken but your math is off, unless there was a typo with his OBP/SLG.

 

Edit: just checked and yeah, it's actually the SLG that is higher believe it or not, .473.
