Sounds as if Gennett talks are ongoing with a wait-and-see timetable for us interested fans, per Twitter reply from @AdamMcCalvy - who I'd like to thank for being all over these August signings. His http://brewersbeat.mlblogs.com should be at the top of everyone's non-BF reading list.

UPDATE at 9 p.m. CT -- All three signings confirmed by amateur scouting director Brice Seid. Davis, Hall and Gennett will all report to the team's year-round facility in Phoenix but will not be assigned to an affiliate until 2010. Seid appreciated that management opened the pocketbook for Davis and Hall, who combined to cost more than $2 million.
