Cody pitched pretty well really. He only surrendered two runs (1 earned) and even though he gave up eight hits, at least three of them were dinkers or broken bats. His control at the plate is super.

 

He is rated as having the 3rd best control in the Milwaukee organization I believe.

 

I had an interesting conversation with pitching coach Chris Bosio about Cody and his kids last night (funny).

 

I'll be adding video [added now] of Cody's work last night on the blog later today.

 

He's also a nice kid. He started signing autographs last night and tried to stop to start warming-up. He was visually troubled that he had to say no to more requests.

 

I got his very first Nashville autograph.
