DiFelice hurt? [Updates in replies 24 & 25: injury not believed to be serious; Mark will be leaving team for funeral)

According to Brian Anderson, Mark doesn't think his elbow situation is too serious and that he shouldn't be unable to throw for too long. There doesn't appear to be an injury in a serious area.

 

Also, Mark will be leaving the team for his grandmother's funeral. He'll likely return Sunday. During that time, he should be able to be replaced via bereavement leave.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.
