Power Lefty for Bullpen Trade Idea

If the Dodgers are really interested in Kevin Mench, like many sources seem to indicate, and with Doug Melvin saying that he wouldn't mind having a power left hander in the bullpen...I propose that this trade be consumated:

 

Dodgers get: Kevin Mench

Greg Aquino

 

Brewers get: Hong-Chih Kuo

 

Watch the videos of Kuo on the dodgers website and you will see a very impressive 94-97 mph fastball and some very impressive strikeout totals. In 59.2 innings last year he had 71 strikeouts...pretty impressive. He started a few games last year but also came out of the bullpen for a number of games.

The bullpen would then look something like this:

 

Villanueva- Long Relief

Shouse- Situational Lefty

Kuo- Power Lefty

Capellan- Power Righty

Wise- Off-speed Righty

Turnbow- Closer ability

Cordero- Closer
