bando1234
I did not watch the Brewer game to watch TV's top 50 catchphrases. I was waiting for wachu talkin about Willis & Dy-no-mite. Those were the top ones I could think of. They did not make the top 50. Im a little disappointed.

Probably not on the list, but my favorite was always, "Hey, hey, hey. WHAT is going on here?"

I also like...

"Oh my God they killed Kenny."

"Hey now" (LS Show)

"Wohw" (Joey Lawrence)

"Norm!"

"Aaaaaayy" (Fonz)

I don't understand how they leave "Willis" out.

While I love Seinfeld more than anything on TV, I have to wonder about the choice as well. Isn't a catchphrase considered something you would here on a recurring basis? "Yada" was basically a one show deal, it's not like they used it every week.

I would just expect it to be something you'd be hearing in each episode, that's all.

"His whole life is a fantasy camp. People should plunk down $2000 to live like him for a week. Sleep, do nothing, fall ass-backwards into money, mooch food off your neighbors and have sex without dating... THAT'S a fantasy camp."

Exactly. "Hello Jerry...Hello Newman" would have been a much better Seinfeld pick.

Agreed. My name rhymes with Jerry, so everytime I hear someone say Hello to me, I want to reply with "Hello Newman" and I've barely watched the show...

I still use "homey don't play dat" every so often. Definitely one of my favorites.
"When a piano falls on Yadier Molina get back to me, four letter." - Me, upon reading a ESPN update referencing the 'injury-plagued Cardinals'

NBC compiled the list. without having looked at it yet, i would think that NBC shows are heavy on the list

EDIT: just looked at the list and noticed that there were about 7 (i didnt count that close) lines from SNL

What is that from? I know Mr. Belding once said it on Saved by the Bell, but other than that, I dont know.

I have to agree a catchphrase to me means something that would be repeated over the course of several episodes at the very least. "Yada, yada, yada" doesn't really fit that.

Fan is short for fanatic.

I blame Wang.
