trade with SEA the day after the draft

I feel that JackZ will make a play for players in the MIL system...some possibly can only be had after the year trade moratorium on draftees is lifted after the June 2009 draft.

These players coming from SEA could be packaged to SD for Peavy. That way GMDM keeps his Gamel, Parra, Escobar, and Salome and trades for Peavy too.

Fredrickson, Dykstra, Wooten, CKemp, Lintz could do greater good to a playoff run if some of them were traded for Peavy or maybe Bedard.

Example...

Fredrickson, Dykstra, Wooten to SEA for AMoore and SKelley then those players traded with Brewer and Lintz to SD for Peavy.

Fredrickson, Dykstra, Wooten, Lintz for Bedard.

Thoughts?

I don't think Frederickson, Brewer and Dykstra have a lot of value right now, so I doubt they could be 60% of a Peavy trade.

Dykstra would be more than likely be a player to be named later in a deal for Peavy.

I bet Jack Z believes in his ability to draft his own prospects in SEA. I believe there could be some trades between SEA and MIL, but Jack Z just isnt going to trade for his entire 2008 draft class.

ha there is no way that a any GM would trade for a bunch of young single A/ R ball players even if he did draft them as the scouting director. Could you imagine how pissed we'd all be if we traded a solid to great major league player for a bunch of low single A and Rookie league players. I know this was made earlier in the season but look what at the stats of the players in the trade. Wooten is the only one playing great. Lintz is still in EST and now Cutter is down their learning a new position and was not hitting the ball very well. Fredrickson is all over the place, and Brewer, I don't know he just can't put it all together. I for some reason see him retiring and going the Javon Walker, James Casey way to college football. I'm pretty sure I'm the only one who sees that happening but yeah.

Last like someone said before he as faith in his abilities as a scout and knows that he can get talent there without having to try to trade for it. If we would do a trade some guys I's think it'd be more established prospects like a Taylor Green, Lorenzo Cain, Caleb Gindl........ someone like that. You never want to put yourself in a situation to fail when running a team or coaching or really anything. Thats what he'd be doing by trading for first year guys who haven't shown anything yet. Lawrie and Wooten would be the only two in the draft class from last year that I'd be excited about if I was a Seattle fan. Lawrie's potential is huge and Wooten seems to be at worst a decent 6th or 7th bullpen arm
