The Twins have gone from 20 to 11 to 6 runs in the last three games. They are on pace for 3 tomorrow... if we can just find a way to score 4.
That's the spirit! I guess.

Gerut looked reasonably gritty as he drew that 9th inning walk. Maybe that's good for something.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

So yeah, I was talking to my brother earlier today about this game. I mentioned this is Swarzak's first major league start so he'll probably pitch seven shutout innings. I wish I used my powers for good instead of evil, although I'm not sure that was power since I'm guessing a lot of other Brewers' fans predicted seven shutout innings for Swarzak too.

Eh, a two game losing streak to a very hot Twins team in their park.
Very hot? They lost six of seven coming into this series.
Well they did hang 20 runs on the White Sox, that got them going. Then the Brewers came in to town who do not play well in Minnesota. So that was my point. I'm just not going to freak out over these two losses. I feel great about tomorrow night. We can get one and get ready for a home stand.

Sorry, I forgot the smilie. I was about 47% sarcastic. Nothing is worth shutting the season down at this point.

I'm seriously going to be peeved if we can't do some damage against Baker, because he's been getting lit up like a Christmas tree for most of the season so far. That said, it's still a winning roadtrip, and I don't care what you say, that's a good thing. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Fair enough... and I never advocated, or ever thought of "shutting down the season."

It's particularly frustrating to see a team that played very good ball, all of a sudden revert back to the mistakes they have made the past couple of seasons. Plate discipline has slacked off at the dome, and their fielding has continued to slide.

No doubt a winning roadtrip is nice, but getting swept is never good. Especially with a hot Cardinals club coming into town on Monday. I hope you're right about lighting up Baker.
