I think Morneau is a really underrated player and doesn't get the attention he deserves because he plays in Minnesota.

Morneau won an MVP, he's clearly not underrated and clearly gets attention. Mauer is twice as valuable as he is.

Anyone catch his web gem against the Yankees last week? I don't think any other catcher in the league can make that play.

 

I saw that live... I've never seen a more athletic play by a C, or come to think of it, a more athletic C. Joe Mauer is arguably the most valuable player in MLB. And I say that without the context of his batting like .765 so far this season. The guy is just amazing.
