Other than Josh Butler rocketing up the list, I doubt theres any big movers.

Butler? I'm not so sure, Cody definitely will move up significantly.

I would think Evan Anunderson is due for a rise as well.
He's already over-ranked at 22 IMO. Righties that throw 85 aren't real prospects.

Tim Dillard could be a big riser.
He's pitched great an opened eyes, but he's already at 18. Thats just a great job by the guys doing the rankings.

Butler wasn't even ranked, so he'll be the biggest jump.

Dillard needs to get the walks down and his strike outs up. 16 walks to 17 strike outs I would like to see Dillard strike out some more batters before he moves any higher on the list.

Anundsen's lack of a velocity is a real downer.

edit. And post this in the next 15 minutes before I leave for a high school baseball game please thanks.

Butler's peripherals are terrible.
Thats just not true. He has a 1.3 WHIP and hasn't allowed a HR all year. He has a very good ground ball ratio. That will lead to a very good ERA, and it has.

This guy has a true power sinker, and is a legit prospect because of it.

X, Butler's and Anundsen's GB rates are quite similar, and Anundsen's strikeout rate, walk rate, and hit rate are superior to Butler's. This is also Butler's third year in the FSL, and he's three years older than Anundsen. Not saying Anundsen is any great prospect, but if he isn't one, Butler sure as hell isn't one either.

Where did you figure stuff into the equation? Do you see alot of RHP in the majors throwing 85?

Well, there is Jeff Suppan. Kidding aside, if Butler's "power sinker" was so great, he should be dominating the FSL, especially the third time around. This isn't a conversation about what Anundsen is, but rather what Butler isn't: a good prospect.

Given the stuff Dillard showed out of the pen last year, he has to be above guys like Anundsen/Brewer/Aguilar, doesn't he?
BK, I personally listed Dillard high at # 10, so my cohorts will have to defend themselves on that one.

I didn't expect him to be sneaking this up at 3AM his time... What a committed dude!

Excellent job as always gentlemen.

I disagree with Anundsen. Theres just not much there. The Brewers have never mentioned this kid. If they thought highly of him, they would of hyped his no-hitter to no end.

And why the love for Efrain Nieves? He doesn't even belong on the list. He's a soft tosser with a loopy breaking pitch and poor production. I've seen him pitch twice this year, and I couldn't be less inspired.

Josh Butler isn't in the top 55? Melvin just mentioned this week how impressive he's been. He's one of our top pitching prospects. Him and Nieves could switch spots.

I due have to give big props for this though, great stuff:

Media guide says Casey would have been a weatherman if not a baseabll player. But doesn't the Miller Park roof negate half that value?

I thought the power potential of Chris Dennis would sneak him on the list...

Did he show up on any individual lists?

Chris Dennis appeared on two individual lists, including my own. Look for him to break through next month.

If Dennis continues to hit like he has, he'll sky rocket up into the 20s someplace by the end of the season.
