Red Brewers Flag Hat

I am not a fan of off color gear (green brewers gear, and there was a store in the Montego Bay airport with shirts and hat of every team "Jamaicanized" for some reason.) but this is a sharp looking hat. The page says its "worn on field to show support for the Welcome Back Veterans Foundation"

 

Anyone know if this will be the Memorial Day hat? July 4th? some other day?

Not to be anti-veteran in any way, but I kind of hope they don't sell a ton of this particular cap on Memorial Day. There'll probably be enough red in the park already.

From what i heard, that hat will be used on Memorial day, the 4th of july and 9/11 this year.

I was hoping they'd bring the blue one back as I missed out on buying one last year, but that red had is pretty snazzy. It looks like all of the stars and stripes hats this year are red.

That's exactly what I was thinking. People are going to see that on TV and think Cardinals fans have taken over Miller Park.

I happened to be near the mall today so I stopped in to see if they had any of these hats. The Lids at Bayshore does, but of course they had Mench size (8, which was swimming on my head, lol), and then 7 1/2 on down. I am either 7 3/4 or 7 5/8. The hat looks really cool, though.

Is this the Jeff Bennett edition, or do all hats come with massive, flat brims nowadays?

I was just at a store and was told they will be worn on Monday.

I preferred the blue one with the flag M. I think this one is ugly and to top it off, it is the other team's color.

I guess they are evening things up, last year teams that normally wear red had to wear blue caps. I seem to remember seeing the Phillies in blue caps and being confused as to why they were wearing hats that did not match their uniforms at all.
