2009-05-18 Brewers (Looper) at Cardinals (Lohse): 7:15 PM CDT [Brewers Win, 8-4]

I'm a little embarrassed I don't know this, but do partially-played games that get postponed start over? Cause I thought the Brewers were down 2-0 on Friday, and for some reason I always thought that the game picks up where it left off. Can anybody provide clarification on this?

None of Friday's stats count - this game started over completely.

ETA: - I'm not sure of the exact rule - think it may have something to do with it not being an official game before it was postponed and that's why the game starts over.

Don't feel bad, I had the same question when it got rained out. If the game doesn't go 5 innings it is cancelled and replayed. If it does, the score is final. If the score is tied, then it is restarted from the same score.

Let's hope whoever caught that ball is nice about exchanging it with Gamel.

The Saint Looey Youngster has requested a signed photo, a Gamel bat, a Braun signed bat, a Fielder signed bat, and he wants to view Weeks' surgery this week from the gallery.

The HY saga continues... but didn't that ball go into the bullpen?

Congrats Mat... wow that was a rocket.
