Was going to post that I would have given Gamel an at bat there and then brought in McClung or Defelice for 2 but they score one anyway but would have liked to put it away there.
Do you think they bring him out for the 8th with only 97 pitches. I think I would do it and then pull him if he gives up a walk, a hit or warning track flyball. It would be nice to have a completely rested pen heading into the road trip.

Defelice is pretty rested so I think I would go there.. Bush has a history of tiring quickly but you are right nice to have everybody rested before St. Louis.. at the very least we know that Julio is well rested

Assuming Bush's spot does not come up, why not see if he can get through 8. Macha does not seem to worry about making mid-inning pitching changes.
Well it is moo point now but considering the Brewers starter have gone 7, 6, 6, 6, 6, and 7 the last 6 games and there was an off day pretty safe letting the bullpen go 2 though I might let McClung close the 9th or let Defelice go 2 to save Villy and Hoffman for St. Louis

Is FSN showing the 30 minute, "Baseball on crack" version of the game tonight?
I did not see it in the listings. I don't think they have done one this year, perhaps that experiment is dead???

Gamel swung right through a 87 mile changeup right down the middle for strike 2.. fouled off a tough 96 mph two seamer.. laid off a good changeup outside and swung through the same 96 mph two seamer he fouled off 2 pitches before.

They didn't do it for the day game with the Pirates, and it's not in the schedule for tonight. Their Facebook page says they're on the air tomorrow. I think it's done unfortunately.

Look like Hoffman is coming in.. we will see Gamel.. why is Kendall hitting for Rivera?

That was a bizarre move, unless Rivera is hurt or not yet 100%.

I think Kendall came in for defense the previous inning.
