Weeks, will you ever stop being monumentally frustrating at the absolute basic baseball skills? Most awful beer league softball players can still catch a relay throw. Or at least handle it enough to prevent a guy from tagging from second to home! Most little leaguers can accomplish this great feat, too.

Bonifacio tried to score from first on a single?
I didn't see it, I'm listening to Uecker, but apparently Duffy threw the ball in to Hardy at 2nd, so Bonifacio kept running.

This is correct.

What? On CBS game center, it said that Hall popped out and Duffy hit the homerun. Wierd.
Hall should have popped out. Cantu missed it. Whoever is doing the game center probably looked away and assumed it was caught.

I am sure I am wrong on this but it seems like Braun and Fielder are ever hot at the same time. Braun was hot for a couple weeks and Fielder was struggling now Fielder is hot and Braun is struggling a little. I cannot think of an extended period where both were hot

Is that really a bad thing though? You wouldn't want both Braun and Fielder cold at the same time. It would be nice to have them both hot at the same time but as long as one is hot I can live with that.

On the Hardy play:

Bonafaccio caught it right on 3rd and stepped on the bag and could have underhanded it to first but threw it about 20 feet to the left. Hardy came all the way around to score and may have been out but the throw home was wide and went to the pitcher behind the catcher. The real question there is how Braun didn't get to third. Looked like he was dogging it out of the box and then around first.

On the Ramirez play:

Play was deep to righ field at the track and when Duffy threw it in Weeks, not Hardy, who just flat out dropped it and couldn't pick it up in time to throw out Ramirez at home.

Also earlier in the game Fielder dove to snare a grounder exactly like yesterday when it popped out of his glove but this time it stayed in.

Gotta keep Bush in there for the next inning, right? Only 84 pitches so far.

Edit: Yes, now get the bunt down.

Was going to post that I would have given Gamel an at bat there and then brought in McClung or Defelice for 2 but they score one anyway but would have liked to put it away there.

Just gotta say real quick, as I'm watching the game on Extra innings, the Marlins announcers are actually pretty good today. I haven't had the urge to turn them off yet.
Yeah, they are doing a nice job. I think this is the only time I've watched a Florida telecast and if this is what they are normally like, I approve.

I was just going to post on this. They seem to call it like a fan without worrying about being homers or sucking up to the players. Last K was a good example. Instead of being like Rock and complaining the pitch was a ball they basically said "If the ump just called a couple of strikes on that same pitch you have to swing with 2 strikes"
