Does anyone here know if a WHEDA loan can be re-financed? We've owned our home for almost five years now, and have a 5.875% rate on a 30 year fixed. That was a great rate at the time we got it...now not that great. I've heard different answers on my question, though.

Nevermind...found out you can indeed refinance a WHEDA mortgage (which I think was referenced in an earlier post anyway). Our local credit union is offering 15 yr fixed at just over 3.6%. Closing costs would be just over $1,000.00. Seems like a good deal. Thoughts?
