Movies coming to Miller Park

I was there and fell asleep for pretty much the whole second movie while my girldfirend just stayed awake and saw all of Major League. I didn't have the sound issues, since I was listening to both in my car and everything seemed normal - we even had to turn it down at one point. Of course that did cause my battery to go dead though (although they were obviously prepared, as I let one of the parking security guys know and he radioed someone who showed up with a battery jumper within about 2 minutes). Other than the fact that I fell asleep for the movie I wanted to see more, it was fun.

I didn't realize how much that parking lot terrain goes up and down. We ended up one row too far back in terms of being at the top of the small bowl that is formed there and were behind a bunch of trucks and SUVs, so we were a little concerned about seeing. It would have been fine in warmer weather - we could sit in chairs to see between the vehicles. Instead, the people next to us left or moved, so we moved the car over a little, sat in the back and tied the hatch partway down to not block the people behind us.

 

They said there were sound issues, though we didn't have any and they ended up starting Sandlot over after about 20 minutes, so the night was even later than we'd planned. But all in all, it was really nice and I heard they've already announced they'll do it again in August.
