Auction to raise money for Brewerfan?

Have we ever gone through and done an auction with various Brewers stuff, with all proceeds going towards Brewerfan? I would think we all have something to give that others would want (spare bobbles, autographs, and the like). We can do an item a day and the winning bidder would donate the money after the seller sends them the product.

 

I would think this would work well for making an extra $500 or so.

I think this sounds like a great idea. I know I have some extra stuff around I would be willing to donate for it, and I'm willing to bet that there would be a few things posted up that I would bid on as well.

 

Mods--if each person who wins an auction dontes through Yuku, wouldn't that decrease the total number of page views for the site as well? That's what I understand from reading the spring donation thread.

I'd kind of like to see it done the other way around. That's usually how sales are processed.

 

Blancofan1, those who donate through Yuku get some free Yuku Supporter. Yuku Supporters' page views don't use up paid views on Yuku boards. Brewerfan, LambeauLeap, and any other "large" Yuku board would benefit. Yuku Supporter can also be purchased separately.
