I have to think that any type of trade offer would have to outweigh the bounty the Braves gave up for Mike Gonzalez... That said, we could make it a bigger deal, where perhaps it is like.....

Thats a terrible article. Cardinals trade Rolen? Thats not giving up this year but the next two as well.

So you want to trade your second best pitcher(who is under contract), a decent young reliever, you best option to fill into the rotation and your future starter in the outfield for a aging reliever and a knuckleheaded outfielder that may be good eventually.

While it's not the greatest article am I the only one that is beginning to think Rolen might just about be done. There are several players on St. Louis that are close to being done. They got the most out of them last year. With the whole Hancock situation that team is just about to start mailing it in now.
