MLB Draft going Primetime

http://mlb.mlb.com/news/p...p;fext=.jsp&c_id=mlb

The first three rounds as well as the two compensation rounds will be Tuesday night, 6/9. The first round will be televised live on the MLB Network. Rounds 4-30 will be on Wednesday, 6/10, and rounds 31-50 will be on Thursday, 6/11. I'm only disappointed because I have tickets for the Brewers/Rockies on 6/9 and won't be able to watch the draft live.

This is an interesting move to split up the draft like that. I wonder what kind of affect this will have on players who have signability concerns. I mean this gives teams more time to work the phones with prospects and hammer out some ballpark dollar amounts for those prospects that have top of the draft talent that are falling.

Not really sure what kind of ratings this will get. Hopefully I can watch it.

Well this is lovely. I don't have the MLB Network.

Me neither... I was bombarding them with hate mail but I stopped about a week ago but it was obvious that I was just continually getting the same canned responses. I really liked Dish up until this MLB Network fiasco.
