Wang isn't dead, he'll find himself again. I'd rather have Wang than Suppan, but I'd much rather have Cameron/Suppan than Duffy/Wang. Cameron is very valuable, and we don't have a replacement close to him yet.

I know there is a good argument for this trade. I am waiting for someone to make it for me. I would make this trade, CMW won 19 back to back years. The brewers can start TG jr of duffy. I know they both suck but at some point the brewers will have a starter go down.

I believe Wang and Lowe are identical pitchers. They both get a lot of outs through the ground ball which if you have a good infield defense the pitcher will shine. One thing to note with Wang though is that his LD% increased 3.8% while his GB% went down by 3.4%. I know Wang didn't pitch the whole year last year and he could have improved on those lines. Though Wang's FB% stayed within his career norms in 2008. Another thing to look at is Wang's decrease in his GB% each year that is a warning sign when you have a pitcher who relys heavily on the ground ball to get batters out.

Relying on last years numbers for Wang isn't a good idea though but I do believe Wang hasn't fully recovered from his injury last year. I don't see Wang returning to his old self untill at least the mid 2010 season. Wang really wouldn't help the Brewers out this year. Capuano has as much of a chance to help out the Brewers this year as Wang would. That is just my opinion though.

Wang and Duffy is not even as good as Cameron alone and if you factor in Suppan into the equation it gets even more lopsided. If Duffy was right handed I would sign Edmonds. Edmonds/Duffy and Wang would be better than what you would get out of Cameron in the long run. Also Cameron wouldn't get Wang alone you would have to send something else to the Yankees to get Wang back in return. Wang just came out of his 2nd year of arbitration I believe. The only way I would trade Cameron plus is if we could somehow get Swisher back in the deal along with Wang. Yes I know I'm dreaming and I doubt the Brewers will get a deal done with the Yankees this year if the Brewers are in the race or not for a playoff brith.

Short term it would be a killer, but long term...there's a lot of upside there. I wouldn't mind taking the chance. Hall in CF, and Gamel at 3rd would probably be our only option.

Gamel is too risky at 3B just yet. If were gonna rush him, switch him to RF now, let him play that in the minors til they do the trade. OF would be Braun-Hart-Gamel. I am not the biggest fan of Hart's defense...but he can cover some ground and hes more experienced than Braun out there.

Billy is too valuable on the infield, he plays 3rd pretty strong. And hes hitting too well to be moved again, that guys been through enough moving.
