Tailgating Drink of Choice

PrinceEatMeat
Is it just me or does it feel wrong to drink anything but Miller in the Miller Park parking lot? My friend wants to bring Bud to our tailgate on Saturday, and I told him to go to Chicago with it. We are in Milwaukee, I think we should drink Miller, especially in our own parking lot. What do you all think?

I agree, although I don't really care.. I drink Chill when it's really hot out, but my drink of choice is Rum & Coke.. I'll drink Sprecher products too.. I believe in buying local anyway, no matter what the product..

I buy my dogs/brats/steaks from a local butcher, I buy Usingers if I don't. I dunno, ever little bit helps..

I've stuck to Miller products ever since the stadium was built, I might be tacky, but I'm also loyal.

I like to drink beer in the parking lot, which is why I avoid Miller and Bud.

I do usually bring Sprecher, New Glarus, or Central Waters to the game. So I'm still supporting wisconsin http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Which is fine, I love the New Glarus 4 packs of the really good stuff they make..

I go with the 16 oz. plastic Miller Lite bottles or occasionally some Miller High Life. I'm going to the game tomorrow and one of my buddies that I'm going with is Michelob Golden Draft Light fiend, but he knows enough to leave it at home. And not just because it is Miller Park, but because it is Milwaukee. If you are tailgatin with me, it better be a Miller product, a WI microbrew/craft, or some Leinie's

Nothing other than Miller products touch my cooler all year round, regardless if it is at the park, on the pontoon, while camping, at the ball field, in the ice shack, etc... so it is certainly going to be Miller (Lite) at Miller Park.

I should add that for the home opener I make a big water cooler full of what I call Brew Crew Blue Brew. It consists of vodka, Blue Raspberry UV vodka, lemonade, and a little Squirt. Just came up with it on my own, although I am sure there are many similar recipes out there

Anyone ever made a homemade Summer Shandy? Take an empty cooler and pur a defrosted lemonade mix into the cooler, then fill it up once or twice with cheap vodka, then finish it off with 6-8 Miller Low Lifes. Beautiful Beer concoction, though I got it from a group of hospitable North-siders who invaded our park. Definitely the exceptions.

We do UV & Robinade, which makes the bar look like an '82 tribute.

My friends and I have always referred to that mix lovingly as "Amnesia" -- mainly because you can become quite intoxicated from it because it's easy to drink and fairly potent.

High Life. Nothing else.
