Trenni's new makeover

I'm not sure what is to be gained by talking about someone's college days, unless we are talking about a Brewers prospect. That doesn't have any impact on the profession that someone now has. And beyond that, how likely are any stories to be true?

Trust me, most people from Wisconsin need a makeover. Most in my family, for instance.

I couldn't resist. I put in 23 years there in Wisco myself and I guess my Chicago attitude just hit me. No wonder you hate Cub fans. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Yeah, because Chicago people aren't fat.
Chicago as a whole-yes. They are overweight. I was referring more to style, I guess. I was too general.

Come out here some time and I lead you to some of the best places with some amazing talent where you will be awestruck. It was part of the draw that brought me here at 23. I have also recruited 4 Wisconsonites here since I moved. It all depends on your lifestyle. Wisconsin is a great place to raise a family and have a nice laid back atmosphere; no doubt. I miss it sometimes. If you are single in Wisco...not so much.

Enought of that stupid argument. I love the Brewers like everyone on here does and I hate the Cubs. Let's agree on that. (BTW, Doug is my neighbor here too in Chicago. Good guy.)

I've been e-mailing Trenni about some other things (she's been extremely generous with helping us out with some stuff for the site over the last year and a half or so) and she got back to me last night. She mentioned that she saw the post on her "new look":

And on a side note, I thought the recent threads on my "new look" are very funny! (Yes, I still check the site!) Here's the deal...New York and the network are very different from home! I have a clothing deal and someone who chooses my outfits, but I get the final say. (and I still abide by my hemline rule!) I also have someone to do my hair and make up when I'm on set...hence the more "glam" look. Plus, the HD cameras and lights in the studio require a bit more make up than I'd ever wear in real life. Trust me, if you see me on the street, I'm still not very made up and wear my chuck taylors to work almost every day! (But I'm not going to lie, I'm a girl and I like playing dress up for work!)

I think Trenni really is just a down-to-earth Wisconsin gal that is great at what she does. Anyway, thought you all might be interested in her response.

Trenni was also on 1250 WSSP this morning and talked about her "new look" and the post on the site. It was pretty funny. You can listen to it HERE.

I made a post about the e-mail and the interview and put another picture of her on the MLB Network up on the site earlier. You can check it out HERE if you'd like.

I don't know what happened to my first post in this thread, but I do feel kinda bad she's been talked about like a piece of meat here (and intimations about "college stories"? Come on...)--our only real contact with her is as an interviewer/TV personality (yes, appearances are a big part of that, I understand), and she was top-notch for that. I don't get MLB Network so I can't comment about her performance there, but I can imagine she's doing well there.

I mean, I guess it's no different than a bunch of housewives clucking about how attractive certain soap opera stars are, and who knows, maybe there is a group of female Brewers' fans dissecting Brian Anderson's appearance somewhere...

I was really surprised by how small Trenni was in person. She walked past and I got a pic with her during the Chris Young near no hitter, last September.

She really seems like the runner type, and man does she look good on those MLB network broadcasts. She looks good in person too http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Its a shame we can't keep the talent here, Vasgersian, Trenni, and worst of all, Jimmy Powell.

At least Darron Sutton is gone. Good riddance.

Well, the nature of broadcasting is kind of like "same people, different places." The ones that stay in the same place for 20 or 30 years are the rare exceptions.

If anything it speaks to the fact that the Brewers radio and TV producers have been very good at finding top tier talent.

Hey Trenni, congrats on the promotion... seems like you're doing a great job.

We miss you though! (but glad to see you doing Wisconsin proud) http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

Totally agreed, Invader. I may be alone in this, but I actually like Telly Hughes so far (admittedly... small sample! http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif). I think he's still adjusting to the gig, & once he does I think he's going to be a solid replacement.

Bottom line, I think she's great at what she does.

Agreed. And while she's certainly attractive, I think Trenni should be commended first & foremost for her excellent work. She's by far the most talented 'sideline reporter' I can ever remember the Brewers employing.

While true, this is akin to being the world's tallest midget.

I live in Chicago and I think there are plenty of really attractive women in Milwaukee....more than most outsiders give it credit for.

Yeah, I got the chance to meet her last year here in SF, too, and she was really friendly, chatted with me and my wife and another Brewers' fan at AT&T Park for about 10-15 minutes (more than we deserevd, since I got her attention by drunkenly bellowing "TRENNNIIII!!!!!"...hey, what can I say, the Brewers had just finished a big sweep and I was in a mood...) or so about the team and the Ray Durham trade and baseball broadcasts on EI and the Bay Area and Wisconsin, etc. Definitely knew all her stuff well and has a great demeanor...like I said earlier, a natural for her line of work.

I disagree that she was all that small, though, I stand about 6'1 and she wasn't that far below me (as made obvious by the photo, she was nowhere near as fat, drunk and sweaty as me though!).

So, RSf, you were uh, shall we say "stalking" the ladies room? Hmmmmmm??
For any new folks, blue type is for gentle kidding, light sarcasm. I was chuckling because the picture is taken in front of the ladies room.
