I thought this was hilarious so I included the whole thing. Love Prince's comment. If that's not cool with the mods you are obviously free to take it out:

Hart, Hardy take one for team

By Tom Haudricourt of the Journal Sentinel

Apr. 19, 2009 9:59 a.m.

New York - There are different ways to "take one" for the team but shortstop J.J. Hardy and rightfielder Corey Hart went above and beyond after a 1-0 loss to the Mets yesterday.

Hardy and Hart, in an effort to "change things up" for themselves and the club, had their hair died jet black. It wasn't a dramatic departure for Hardy, who had brown hair, but the new look was striking for Hart, who normally has blond hair.

Hart even had his beard died black.

"You look like Abraham Lincoln," Prince Fielder told Hart in the clubhouse this morning.

Both players were getting ribbed about their new look but Hardy, who is batting .125, said it was worth trying to change his luck as well as the team's. The Brewers are 3-8.

"They tried talking us out of it (at the salon)," said Hardy. "They said, 'Are you sure?'"

Reliever Todd Coffey died his close-cropped red hair black during spring training but kept his red goatee. Naturally, he approved of the change by Hart and Hardy.

"I think it's outstanding," said Coffey.

If the Brewers win today, look for a mad dash to the hair salon tomorrow by the rest of the team.

Here is the Brewers' lineup for today:

2B Rickie Weeks

RF Corey Hart

LF Ryan Braun

1B Prince Fielder

SS J.J. Hardy

CF Mike Cameron

3B Bill Hall

C Jason Kendall

RHP Jeff Suppan

Mets:

SS Jose Reyes

LF Daniel Murphy

3B David Wright

1B Carlos Delgado

CF Carlos Beltran

RF Gary Sheffield

2B Fernando Tatis

C Omir Santos

P Nelson Figueroa

ESPN Baseball Tonight just flashed two disheartening statistics about the Brewers:

- They have 4 blown saves already this season, tied for most in MLB.

- They're batting .179 with only 1 home run out of the cleanup spot.

Hopefully today is the day they start to turn things around. I think if Suppan can just keep the Brewers in the game, they have a chance against Figueroa.

When a passage is fairly brief, it should be fine to quote the whole thing.

I did add a link... that's still appropriate because it's part of citing the source. A note saying something like "Because this is brief, I've quoted the whole thing" would alert people that they wouldn't necessarily have to click through.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

I hate to say it, but I do not feel confident about this game. Figueroa is just the type of pitcher that gives our guys fits. And I don't expect Suppan to be much better. He will probably throw strikes, but I don't think the results will be good. I hope he proves me wrong.

I AM excited to get a look at Hardy and Hart. I bet Hart looks pretty funny

Citi Field looks big enough that I'm not too worried about Suppan keeping the ball in the park. Like the game in San Francisco, though, I'm worried about gappers with runners on.

Hopefully they've finally figured out Figueroa (heh) and can get to him early. Heading into Philly on a high note would do a lot of good.

I appreciate the team spirit, but Corey with jet black hair? If you hear either screams or laughter coming from south central Wisconsin, you'll know I've had my first look.

Come on, Brewers. Stop the madness, stop the losing.

Edit, after the game: The "dark look" doesn't look all that bad on Corey. Once his blond roots grow out, though, the color clash will be epic.

Remember: the Brewers never panic like you do.

4 blown saves this season so far. Oof. W/o Hoffman, there is no difference for this season's bullpen and that of last season if you ask me. Use that as cannon fodder when folks tell you that losses right now do not matter as much as in the last quarter of the year.

That was a somewhat disappointing start, but they did make Figueroa throw 29 pitches.

The new hair for Hart and Hardy is definitely amusing.

ouch. Brewers caught a break on that pitch to Prince that was a perfect slider. Once again, Braun swings through two 87 mph belt-high heaters. The home plate ump got in Hardy's head on that first pitch.
