Krylon - Trivia Contest for World Series Tickets

Was contacted by a representative from Krylon the other day. Apparently, they're having a contest for free world series tickets.

If the winning prize is truly World Series tickets, they must have read this thread that questions why it is called the "World" Series because they are strangely calling it the Fall Series. Makes me question if they could substitute any playoff tickets or even a regular season game at the end of the season because any of those could qualify as a "fall series."

 

Also, I know I'm being picky here, but I think the thread title misrepresents the contest- guessing what team will have the most wins by May 1 doesn't qualify as "trivia" to me. I got to the site looking for a trivia question and couldn't find it.

The use of "Fall Series" is not because Krylon doesn't think it's really a "World" championship. I'm not a lawyer, but I believe the phrase is substituted to avoid trademark infringement. You may notice that whenever you hear TV and radio contests for the Super Bowl, they refer to it as "The Big Game" or something like that. The NFL is very strict on who gets to use the phrase "Super Bowl" or "Super Sunday."
