He was right. He doesn't quite have it anymore. To continue would have just tarnished his in-ring legacy. Now starts the next phase of his boxing life. I think it's possible his contributions to boxing as a promoter via Golden Boy Productions could make more of a lasting impact on boxing and fighting than what he did in the ring.
