Yeah, I don't have any control over the fan forum software... other than just to recommend to Yuku that they add it.

Yeah, something like that would have to be offered by Yuku.

 

It never hurts to ask, though. There's stuff we might be able to do, and the Yuku portion of the site isn't dependent on Brewerfan.

 

As an example, when a member requested it, we were able to add the dropdowns that access forums on both Brewerfan and LambeauLeap from each board. Also, we had a recent request for a legend for the board's posticons. That's on the to-do list.

Player photos. I know that it has been noted that the site is not going to "borrow" photos from newspapers or affiliate sites, but with a working relationship with the team, would they be willing to distribute their photos to the site?

That would be really cool especially with the minor league players, since many of us have never even seen some of these guys.

I'm currently hashing out a deal to get player photos (at least for major leaguers). It should be completed this week.

I know it's been mentioned before, and maybe it's on the list, but...I'd like to reiterate the request for a "FAQ for other ballparks/cities" section. The same questions keep popping up in the threads and it's starting to get old.

 

I can only imagine how old it's gotten for those of you that have been using/moderating the site for years and years.

I personally think it would be quite neat to have a live updating Twitter feed on the main page, of any brewers related tweet. Like: THIS

 

No idea if it is possible, but figured I would toss it out there.

It's an interesting idea, but I'd probably want to restrict it to a certain known set of Twitter accounts, otherwise it's probably like 80% noise. Good suggestion.

Honestly, "real life" has taken a huge toll on me over the past 6 months or so. Things are settling down now and I have some renewed energy, so I'll be back at it shortly.
