Man alive, I would love to root for the Cubs the way they seem to take pitches. Great patience (for the most part) which is going to kill the opposing teams bullpen.

Hey adam, it looks like you have got everything correct with the IGT. The only thing that needs to be changed is that the game is on WMLW tonight not FSWISCONSIN since the Bucks are playing at 7:30. So all you have to do is change the media coverage code from fsw605 to wmlw605, then all should be good. But everything looks great!

That information is useful to us. In last night's chat, razzzorsharp said it took him about 15 minutes. Maybe there are some clues that might be helpful to others. If so, we should share them in the discussion thread. I think practice might be the best way to learn to speed up the process.

 

If you have an issue with details, it's no problem for a mod to help out. Don't feel offended if you see an "Edited by 'some mod'" at the bottom of your lead. Yesterday, I merged another thread into the IGT and gave it the wrong thread's title. I had to restore the right one.

I haven't started one of these threads, but I think I'd use the template and then use the post editor tools to add the 14 (or so) URLs and the two graphics. I find that if I'm working directly within the HTML, I use up a lot of time because it appears in one large lump instead of being organized into separate lines.

 

I'd also have the directions up in a separate window (rather than a separate tab). My monitor has plenty of room for two side-by side windows. That would speed up copying and pasting.

I think it'll be blacked out. I live in Minneapolis and the Twins/Mariners game on Thursday wasn't on local TV but Seattle was broadcasting it. Unfortunately, it was blacked out on EI (which was very frustrating).

Zambrano hasn't been an ace pitcher for quite some time now so I'd take decent #2 pitchers having shaky early season performances.

I don't know about that. He does walk too many guys and his K rate has been declining, but his worst year was still pretty good (ERA+ of 114) and he's only 28. I wouldn't count him as washed up just yet. BP had him as the 40th most valuable pitcher last year. That's still pretty close to #1 starter material, and that was after 5 straight years of being among the top 30 starters. I'll consider him a #1 until he has more than one non-#1 type year out of 6.

3.95 and 3.91 ERA with good defensive teams behind him. FIPs of 4.58 and 4.23. xFIPs of 4.65 and 4.68. If you want to get technical his peripherals haven't been ace level since 2005, he just had a bit of luck in 2006 so his ERA stayed lower than it should have.
