MLB Gameday has some new bells and whistles. Hot and cold zones for every hitter. Some circular gauge for pitchers. Average velocity for [pitchers.
After the first week (approx - don't remember the exact dates off the top of my head), you have to pay extra for the extras.

The extras are cool, but not that cool.

Fan is short for fanatic.

I blame Wang.

Looper seems to be throwing a bit too many balls, but I'll take two scoreless innings.

I'm really bummed to have to be listening to this instead of watching. MLBTV has STILL not sorted out my blackout issue. I've now been assured the problem will be solved by next week.

Against Hill Looper threw a 3-1 pitch that literally split the middle of that new strike zone they have and it was called a ball. And the pitch was right in that location on TV too so gameday wasn't off.

How many times is Gameday going to show a pitch as a strike but it is really a ball?

Cripes this is ridiculous if his strike zone really is that small

It's embarrassing that this ump is paid by MLB. The strike zone really is that small.
