Looks great, razzzorsharp.

The starting pitcher graphic URL changed slightly for this game only. It's available in this post. The URL contains the teams' W-L records. Because wOOgie needed to prepare the graphic early, there was one ready for either a Brewer win or loss yesterday.

I think that thread may be the best place to post stuff like URL changes, but if anyone has any ideas that are better, please make the suggestions.

You'll want to change the date in the lead. That's sooooooo easy to forget; I've done that several times. http://forum.brewerfan.net/images/smilies/smile.gif

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

I've got a feeling that Braun's going deep today. Unfortunately, I have the same feeling about Soriano. Hopefully Looper can at least keep the Brewers in it until Harden leaves after 5 or 6 innings, and they can jump on the Cubs' bullpen. It'd be nice to get a win or two before Suppan takes the hill again.

The Crew is catching a little break in that Soto will be out atleast the first two games of the series and possibly even 3. That being said the pitching match-ups are incredibly in the Cubs favor, lets hope Harden doesn't yet have his good stuff today. Looper has done suprisingly well against the Cubs so I am hoping for a win today. I just don't want to lose these first two games and then have to rely on Suppan to avoid a sweep. 1-2 wouldn't be the end of the world but I will hope for 2-1.

Rick Schlesinger was on WTMJ this morning. He said that 9% of tickets for this game came from Illinois zip codes and there will probably be more Cubs fans there since there's a lot of them in southern Wisconsin.

I will be leaving work shortly and heading over to the stadium for the game. It should be a great time and an exciting game.

I'm guessing the crowd will probably be 50/50 based on all of the tickets I saw on eBay, Stub Hub, craigslist, etc. I know many people scalped their tickets or extra tickets to Cubs fans to make money and subsidize their other Brewers games this year.

Hopefully Looper can pitch well and the offense can get something done against Harden. Enjoy the game, everyone!

Hopefully Harden has one of his 5 inning 100 pitch starts due to control problems so they have to pull him early, cause I really can't see the Brewers "rocking" him. Can't wait to hear the loud cheers after the first big Cubs hit...ugh.

Happy Opening Day everyone. One of the best days of the year...I can smell those parking lot brats from Los Angeles.

BTW...having Jerry Augustine (my all time favorite Brewer) on Brewers Live has already made this the best season ever!

I agree with cheesecups...1/3 at least with these matchups would be fine. I love the way Rickie Weeks looked in SF...he's my pick for a big day. We just have to get 1-2 off of Harden then get him out of there after 5. We can rack up some crooked numbers in the 6-7th innings. Go Brewers!!!

I'm bummed that Samasafagkldfsnglkgsghopsgnsgnia isn't on the roster for the Cubs, because if he was I could type Samsalfdkjgsfdlkjfnhgofihugtsoifgnblfkjhia whenever he was warming up. Oh well. They're still the Cubs and they will get beaten down today!

Nice to see Soriano still has that great plate discipline. Of course, now that I say that, he'll probably golf one out in his next AB.

Looper looks good in the Brewers uni, for what it's worth.
