Happy Opening Day! The Moderators and I have worked together to develop a set of graphics for the 2009 season that will be more efficient for BF.net users. I will start the IGT's for the Giants series then I will turn it over to the users of BF.net for the remainder of the season. Casey has a template thread of the IGT graphics that I developed for every team the Brewers play this season. There will be a Usability Thread that explains how to replace the links and find the graphics, which will guide you through setting up the IGT. If anyone has questions on how the IGT will work for the 2009 season please feel free to shoot a PM to me or Casey.

Happy Opening Day and GO BREWERS in 2009!!

As wOOgiE22 says, there'll be information added to the IGT Usability Guide to help members create wOOgiE-style in-game thread leads. A template for the series at hand will be made available along with instructions for editing it.

This information should be available within the next couple of days. I'll let everyone know when the additions are up.

That’s the only thing Chicago’s good for: to tell people where Wisconsin is.

fondybrewfan[/b]]Kinda sucks that every team plays their opener either Monday or Sunday night but the Brewers and Giants have to wait until Tuesday afternoon. Stupid Giants

Yeah, not to mention that it's a nice day in SF today, but tomorrow and beyond? Well, doesn't look to promising:

Hard to predict the weather anywhere, but especially in Northern California in April. The good news is any rain that comes is likely to be pretty mild and shouldn't delay the game long if at all.

I'm not sure why they're playing tomorrow instead of today, but I'm not entirely sure it was the Giants' call to make. I like how they'll be playing three days in a row, but it would be preferable to have done it Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday so the Brewers get a proper travel day. I don't really mind that the Brewers aren't starting at the same time as everyone else--kinda nice, actually.

Why do you say this? Being a golf fan, I've seen how persistant the rain can be at the Pebble Beach event in past years. Those systems that come off the ocean at this time of year can tend to swirl around for a while.

I've just always been a pesimistic person and I'm thinking they are going to have a hard time getting the game in tomorrow. I hope I'm wrong.

It was their call. They decided to play Los Angeles in an exhibition game last night and wanted an off day after that game so it was scheduled for Tuesday.

I personally think it's pretty crappy that the Giants scheduled that exhibition game there yesterday. No other teams played exhibitions.

Anyone know for sure if the game will be in HD on FSN tomorrow. As far as I know its not supposed to be, but I have also heard it will be. Anyone have a definitive asnwer?

This is a bit off topic, but in TH's blog last week he had something about if Time Warner customers order the MLB Extra Innings package by April 12th they can get it for $169 ($20 less than normal). Anyone know if this applies to DirecTv customers also? Thanks...

Why do you say this?
The rains here this time a year that tend to linger for a while are a softer mist, but usually they're relatively brief.

That said, the forecast is getting worse, and yeah, I've since seen that the Giants made the call so they could get that additional Dodgers exhibition in (money is the only reason why I can think of, given the endless length of this ST)...I'm already livid given the amount of money it cost me for tickets on StubHub and the time I took off work.

Again: the Brewers and Rays have domes--why are they playing on the road at places that don't in early April and getting postponed? Come on, MLB.

I would think that'd be the case with DirecTV as well, since the $30 discount is being advertised on the Extra Innings website.
