I see you have a Sheets, Lee, and Podsednik in gray jerseys when the only two versions I know of are white and blue. Were these repainted?

Oh yeah...nice work on everything. Looks great!

Well I like them a lot...whoever did it did a great job. I repaint bobbles, but only former players. So far I've completed an Estrada and Vina, in the works of a Sexson and a Cordero, and on deck are Sheffield and Sabathia. It's fun and it is nice to have a "one of a kind" bobble.

Good job, again, on the room.

Matt, looks great! I know how it is to have an entire collection not to be displayed. Mines been boxed up at my dad's while my house has been for sale for over 2 years. It's eating me away.

The next house I get has to have a basement big enough for my ever growing collection.

Quick question, did the journal/sentianal mat those newspapers? I like the crooked angle, to show a bit of yellow. Good touch.

Do you have a picture of your bat (hand) rail going downstairs. I've been thinking about doing it for years. I was wondering what it looks like.

In one of the pictures I thought I seen a flourescent light. I hope thats not true.

i have not done the hand rail out of bats yet. i started but it was not strong enough in case anyone used it. so i put that on hold until i got this done. and whats wrong with the light? yes its a flourescent light. im guessing that by you response i need to take it out. thanks

Wow Matt. it turned out really well. I can't believe how much you got done in such a little amount of time. Last time I was there I couldn't even imagine where you were going to start. Looks great!

Looks great. Where did you get the frames for the newspapers? Are those just the ones with the clear plastic and plastic edges that you put around it? I've been looking for that size for awhile and haven't had any luck...

Fluorecent light fades photos. Fluorescnt is not as harmfull as direct sunlight, but you might want to switch to incandescent lighting.

[edit] Health and safety issues

If a fluorescent lamp is broken, mercury can contaminate the surrounding environment. A 1987 report described a 23-month-old toddler hospitalized due to mercury poisoning traced to a carton of 8-foot fluorescent lamps that had broken. The glass was cleaned up and discarded, but the child often used the area for play.[8][/sup]

Fluorescent lamps emit a small amount of UV light, and a recent study in the US found that UV exposure from sitting under fluorescent lights for eight hours is equivalent to only one minute of sun exposure.[9][/sup] However, UV light can affect sensitive paintings, especially watercolors and many textiles, so valuable art work must be protected from fluorescent lighting. The UV light causes UV degradation and can also cause pigment fading.[citation needed][/sup]

Since fluorescent lamps produce a small amount of UV light, they can trigger problems among individuals with very high pathological sensitivity to ultraviolet light. They can induce disease activity in very photosensitive individuals with Systemic lupus erythematosus; standard acrylic diffusers absorb UV-B radiation and appear to protect against this.[10][/sup] In rare cases individuals with solar urticaria (allergy to sunlight) can get a rash from fluorescent lighting.[11][/sup] Fluorescent lamps with magnetic ballasts flicker at a normally unnoticeable frequency of 100 or 120 Hertz and this flickering can cause problems for individuals with light sensitivity,[12][/sup] they are listed as problematic for individuals with epilepsy,[13][/sup] lupus,[14][/sup] chronic fatigue syndrome, and vertigo.[15][/sup] Research on this is very limited. Fluorescent lighting can also induce depersonalization and derealization, subsequently, it can worsen depersonalization disorder symptomology.[16][/sup]

I didn't think of using those. I need to go back to home depot and get a few more brackets before I put the rail up. I have been to tired/ lazy to do it. Between my job and this I was working 18 hours a day. But after seeing those rowel screws it gave me an idea of how I can do it. I'll send you a pic once it's done
