How about a Duffy / Cameron platoon?

I don't understand why the interest in a platoon. It seems like there would be a platoon, just to platoon two players. No one in their right mind would suggest platooning Gwynn Jr with Cameron, and Duffy is only a minor upgrade why consider it this time?
