Parking lots on Opening Day [2010 posts start at #19]

The last 2 years, we have used Canal St. to get into the preferred lot. It works amazingly well, even though we are coming from the west. If you are coming in from the west via I-94 or National Ave, I highly recommend (if you see a traffic jam) to drive past the stadium and take 27th St to Canal.

My ticket Rep told me that they are sold out of preferred parking. I tried to purchase it in advanced but was denied, because none were left.

general parking was still available from the ticket office as of yesterday.

This year me and my friends who always use Canal St. to get to the general parking lot will be getting in line around 7AM - 8AM sometime we have had no problem with getting in the general lot with our pre purchased passes!! Last year we were stopped in the line for about 3 minutes before they started to open the lot and cars started to move!!
