Weird play. Brewers infield playing in with a runner on 3rd and 1 out. Barfield hits a shallow flyball to center, Weeks would've made the play at normal depth, but couldn't get to it while playing in. Cameron picks the ball up and throws to Weeks who is back pedaling to 2nd base. The throw gets by Weeks and Hall who was backing up. Kendall sees the ball get away and runs to pick it up towards the Indians dugout, Barfield sees that there is nobody covering home plate so he rounds 3rd and heads home. Kendall tags him out about 10 feet from the plate.

 

Just your everyday run-of-the-mill baseball play.

That's exactly what I was wondering when I was looking at the Gameday PBP

If Rickie, JJ, Braun and Hart keeping hitting the way they have this spring, the offense is going to be very very good. Add Cameron and perhaps a resurgent Hall in there and that one tough 1-7. This is of course assuming Kendall is batting 8th where he is suppose to.
