Roundy's Fuelperks (New Grocery Store Card Program)

So, the other day when I went into my local Copps I was asked to switch from my trusty Copps card over to a new Roundy's card. No big deal, as long as it worked.

 

It had this other thing advertised along with it - apparently you could get discounts on gas by using the card. I'm typically hugely skeptical of this sort of thing, but it was surprisingly easy to use.

 

Basically, everytime you spend $50 at a Roundy's store (Copps, Pick n' Save, Rainbow, Metro Market) you get $.10 off a gas purchase at a BP station, as much as $.40 off of each gallon up to 20 gallons.

 

They added a mag strip to the new grocery card, so when you get to the pump you just swipe it through before your credit card (or however you want to pay).

 

I sound like a walking advertisment for this, but I just filled my tank and about 5 seconds of extra effort got me $.20 off per gallon, and I just shop at Copps normally anyway.
